HOPE NOW is hosting this event that will afford homeowners the unique opportunity to meet directly with their mortgage servicer and/or a HUD-approved housing counselor to find alternatives to foreclosure and to get information on other mortgage options. Representatives from the various mortgage companies, plus Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, will also be able to discuss the recently announced MyCity Modification, specifically designed for residents of Detroit. It is possible that a homeowner in your community meets the qualifications for this Detroit-only loan modification. We are prepared to help homeowners Detroit and here is how we can do that together: Below is a flyer that we need your help in distributing. Can you help us distribute it to your constituents or congregations? Are you assisting families who need immediate assistance? Will you let them know about this face to face, FREE opportunity? Do you know co-workers or families that need immediate attention? Can you let them know about this FREE opportunity? Posting information to your website, intranet and social media sites is free and easy. Will you do that for us? To ensure the success of this event, we need your help! Here's a list of mortgage companies that will all be there to help Detroit homeowners: Bank of America Chase Citi Fifth Third Nationstar Ocwen Select Portfolio Servicing SunTrust US Bank Wells Fargo Several local, HUD-approved non-profit counseling organizations will be on-site as well to advise homeowners.
