The Summit is an opportunity for organizational leaders, community members and youth to participate in a learning environment; discuss important issues impacting the Arab American community and the country as a whole; learn best practices for community impact; and discuss collective solutions as a community. This year’s theme, *From Marginalized to Organized*, symbolizes the incredible journey of our community. We will honor the amazing work that has been done to build community strength, while working together to advance an agenda for social justice and community change.

The Plus Sized Belly Dancers/ Dangerous Curves Group on Facebook was founded by Adina Gamal on the principle that plus sized belly dancers of all ages, shapes and sizes can embrace their inner beauty through dance. The group is made up of a diversified group of performers. Plus sized dancers from all over the world are a part of this group sharing their love, fears, hopes, dreams with each other daily! The group of talented performers and Adina Gamal Had been pondering creating a plus sized belly dancer convention for over a year now. The idea is for us to have an event that totally supports us as plus sized dancers. That means photo shoots with photographers that see the beauty in all women, vendors that carry our size and instructors that understands the needs of the plus sized dancer.
