Join us as we hear from a panel of candidates running for office in 2018. Learn more about the candidates as we find out why they are running and what they hope to accomplish if elected. Panelists include Jocelyn Benson, Candidate for Michigan Secretary of State; Representative Jeremy Moss, Candidate for Michigan's 11th State Senate District; Katie Reiter, Candidate for Michigan's 35th House District; Marcia Squier, Candidate for U.S. Senate; and Shri Thanedar, Candidate for Michigan Governor. Our moderator will be Representative Christine Greig.

Panelists include current State Representative Christine Greig; current 14th District Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence; Jennifer Kurland, candidate for Governor; Gretchen Whitmer, candidate for Governor. Our moderator will be State Representative Jeremy Moss. Dana Nessel, candidate for Michigan Attorney General, has withdrawn due to a scheduling conflict; we hope Ms. Nessel will join one of our future panels later this year.

All districts invited! Please join us for at the Farmington Hills Library Main Branch. We will be meeting in the Auditorium. Gloria Llamas who is Reginal Vice-Presicnt of Communication Works of America Local 4123 will share her experience as a Union Leader and how we can resist the Trump agenda; the trap of wedge issues; organization vs. mobilization; why Unions are important and upcoming legislation. There will also be a break down into small team topics.
