Brothers and Sisters: Have you heard about what Kellogg has done to workers in Memphis? Well here is the story -- Kellogg is a $14 billion dollar company that has been on a crusade to shrink its skilled workforce and replace good jobs with cheaper, disposable workers. The workers who make Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops in Memphis, TN. refused to accept their outrageous take-backs and found themselves locked out of their jobs when they showed up to work last October. While many working families missed the rest of the year’s paychecks—and continue to do so—Kellogg CEO John Bryant pocketed nearly $8 million in 2013 compensation. On Friday April 25, we are joining our Brothers and Sisters of BCTGM to send a strong message to Kellogg. We want Kellogg to know corporate disregard for workers, families and communities MUST STOP. Join us in the fight for good middle class jobs and preventing the exploitation of low-wage workers! If you would like to learn more about the Kellogg lockout please visit the url above.
