Residents of Monroe and surrounding communities are invited to a free informational discussion about important action you can take to help ensure you and your family are protected (at least partially) in the event of a severe nuclear accident. A panel of healthcare professionals with expertise in public health issues and representatives of local and national organizations will discuss emergency preparedness measures currently in place for communities surrounding nuclear power plants in Michigan and will present additional information. A question and answer period will follow. There is no charge to attend. Free light refreshments will be provided. This community forum is presented as a public service by the "Got KI?" Campaign, a joint project of Alliance To Halt Fermi 3 (athf3.org) and Beyond Nuclear (beyondnuclear.org).
