Join us for our monthly Campaign Action Meeting, the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, at 6:00 p.m. at our Detroit Office. Address: 2727 2nd Avenue, Suite 136 Detroit, MI 48201 Free parking is available in the fenced in lot off Temple St. - Enter through the door in the parking lot with the blue light above it. Food & Water Watch champions healthy food and clean water for all. We stand up to corporations that put profits before people, and advocate for a democracy that improves people’s lives and protects our environment. In Michigan we're working hard to: - Ensure that water is safe and affordable for all, we're working to stop the water shut-offs in Detroit and to make sure Flint residents have a safe drinking water supply. - Shut down Line 5, a 62-year-old oil and gas pipeline that runs under the Straits of Mackinac and is one leak away from disaster. - Stop two newly proposed natural gas pipelines from being built - ET Rover and NEXUS. - Get antibiotics out of agriculture and save them for medicine. - Support sustainable agriculture practices through Farm Bill conservation dollars. - Get bottled water off of college campuses at Central Michigan University, Aquinas College and the University of Michigan.
