On Wednesday, Aug. 3, school employees and members of the American Federation of Teachers Michigan and the Michigan Education Association will protest at 10 locations across Michigan to demand Governor Rick Snyder stop appealing court rulings which found school employees are owed $550 million due to an unconstitutional law that took money from their paychecks. Calvery Church, 8129 Packard, Warren 6:30-8:30 pm Light Snack Served Come be a part of one or all of these youth dialogue/workshops. Each night an artist or group of artists will share their craft and give those attending a chance to join in. Michigan Coalition for Human Rights is interested in hearing from youth about what issues you are concerned about or working on in your schools or neighborhoods. There will also be the opportunity to learn more about our 2016 Freedom Tour for High School youth.
