Celebrate the East side of Detroit's history and community at the The James and Grace Lee Boggs School. Join us for the Premiere of the Oral History Club’s Newest Documentary Film made by Andrea Claire Maio of Apiary. The documentary debuts student members of the Oral History Club interviewing Detroit residents and Heidelberg Project creator, Tyree Guyton. Learn about the history and lives of those who helped build Detroit! The Celebration also Includes: -Food & Refreshments. -Raffle and Awesome Prizes donated by local Michigan businesses (Each guest has an opportunity to win)! -Musical Performance by singer/songwriter Joe Reilly and the students. -Keynote Speakers: Richard Feldman and Kim Sherrobi from the Boggs Center. -Storytelling by Local Activist Mama Hanifa Adjuman. -Andrea Claire Maio of Apiary's 2014 Documentary Film.
