Alliance to Halt Fermi 3 "Got KI?" Campaign - Door-to-door canvassing in the Monroe area. Join with us in a walk to make a difference. Public response to our past door-to-door canvasses in the Monroe area has been favorable and we are now conducting monthly walks to engage with residents in the area of the Fermi nuclear power plant. We invite you to join us as we continue to provide awareness about: * the need to have potassium iodide (KI) readily available * why the current system of distributing KI is not working * how a change from the current distribution system will help protect many more residents of Michigan from the risk of exposure to cancer-causing radioactive iodine. Registration for this event is required. if you have not taken part in our previous canvass events, you will receive training and all information needed to join other concerned volunteers in helping to make a difference in the health and safety of Michigan residents. Please Register by Saturday, July 23. Contact Ethyl Rivera, Campaign Coordinator at RivEthyl1@gmail.com or on our webpage at http://www.athf3.org/gotki/

Everyone within ten miles of a nuclear reactor should have the pills, but only 5% do.
