Sponsored by our friends at Indivisible Michigan - Pontiac Metro. https://www.facebook.com/groups/indivisiblemipontiac/. Please share widely. On this National Day Without An Immigrant, let's show Pontiac that Oakland County cares about what happens to ALL our neighbors! Bring your personal signs in solidarity with all people, united, embracing our diversity and dedication to freedom.. If you can, we also ask you to bring pantry non-perishable foods (cans, dry goods, etc) to donate to the immigrant families affected by Trump's heartless attack on the undocumented that have not created violent crimes. We are asking Pontiac City Council to stop being cold hearted in not passing Sanctuary City legislation. STOP ICE from separating families daily in Pontiac. Make Pontiac a Sanctuary City! We ask Congress for a direct path to citizenship for those non-violent immigrants. Having a traffic ticket is not a violent crime! Re-entering the USA to provide for your US-born, American children is not a violent crime!
