A two hour extravaganza bringing together community activism and service groups from across the state of Michigan with a shared goal: Helping to empower and connect people to their place in today's movements. Service groups, such as Indivisible, FAM, Voter's Not Politicians, Emerge Michigan, Michigan People's Campaign, All Hands On Deck, FAIR MI and many more will have booths set up for you to visit. There will be special guest speakers, concessions, and other surprises.

For this meeting, our challenge is to bring a friend from a group that is not strongly represented by our body. We will have a speaker to discuss how we can increase our diversity and reach a larger audience. We also will have new plans of action and discuss the challenges we are running into. Kevin Hrit, director to Gary Peters will be there along with representation from Representative Sander Levin's office. They will also try to reach out to congress people who did not attend the March 19th meeting. Trump's budget will pay for the following: $1.5 billion for the construction of a new immigration detention center, 45000 immigrants are in detention camps every day, $1.4 billion to build a disastrous border wall, $314 million to hire 500 additional border patrol agents, and 1000 ICE officials to break down doors, fabricate charges, racially profile and deport immigrants.
