@General Motors World Head Quarters
It’s time for General Motors to pay its debt to the people of Flint! WE are inviting people all over Michigan to gather in Detroit to demand it! WE gotta show up and show people power! GM is one of America's largest welfare recipients. Regardless... GM announced $9.7 billion in profits for 2015. One entity has been notably silent about the Lead Water Poisoning Scandal in Flint: General Motors Corporation. It was GM's mass plant closings that were responsible for the financial destruction of Flint, which led to the city being placed under #EmergencyManagement with the disastrous consequences that followed. It was decades of pollution by GM that made the #FlintRiver the toxic cesspool it is today. While the children in Flint were given poisoned water to drink, #GeneralMotors was given a special hookup to clean water. Which means that while the children in Flint were drinking lead-filled water, there was one -- and only one -- address in Flint that got clean water. The General Motors factory. #DemandGMPay #MakeGeneralMotorsPay #GMPollutedTheFlintRiver #DetroitFlintH20 #WaterIsAHumanRight #MoratoriumNOWCoalition #WageLove #WaterYouFightingFor #FlintWaterCrisis
