The Metro Detroit AFL-CIO Civil Rights Committee will be hosting the movie, "10,000 Black Men Named George," a true story of the fight to unionize the Pullman Railroad Porters in the 1920's. Doors open at 6:30 PM for light snacks and beverages. Movie starts at 7:00 PM. Admission is free. Donations gladly accepted.

Additionally, come to learn about the ALICE Project. Standing for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, this project will change the way we discuss and advocate for the working poor.
