Two Peoples, One Future: What Would Palestinian AND Jewish Self-Determination Look Like In One State?
Lecture by Prof. Brad Roth
More and more Israelis and Palestinians—from across the ideological spectrum within each society— have come to question both the viability and the desirability of "the two-state solution." The declining prospects of the long-stalled Oslo process raise the question of alternative formulas for the realization of self-determination for both the Palestinian Arab and Israeli Jewish populations.
Dr. Roth is a Professor of Political Science and Law. He teaches courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels in international law, human rights, political theory, and legal studies.
The program will include a panel of respondents featuring Prof. Howard Lupovitch of Wayne State University's Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies. Presented in conjuction with the Huntington Woods Peace, Citizenship & Education Project.
